So, you won’t be seeing too many “new” horror films this time, mainly because the scores for modern horror films aren’t really very pleasant to listen to, very often.  Usually, it’s a minimalistic screech sound, over top a thud percussive beat, that slowly gets louder during the course of the film until you just can’t stand it any longer.  No, I prefer a good theme with my jump scares, and for that… we have to go way back. “
